A Business Intermediary matches prospective business sellers with potential buyers. A liaison between sellers and buyers, the Intermediary establishes and maintains smooth, coherent, accurate and up-to-date communication with all parties essential to the business transfer transaction, mediating productive discussions between parties with respect to the future of the business in focus. They are independent contractors who schedule their own time and reap the benefit of their own hard work.
Qualifications include sharp intellect, an exceptional ability to deal with complex situations, firm understanding of business practices, and excellent communication skills. Effective negotiation and sound decision-making skills are also required. A WI real estate license is required but easy to obtain.
Previous business ownership and an educational background in business administration or economics are a plus.
