There are a few key points that hit home in this article such as “Nobody cares that our kids are addicted to technology and can hardly hold a conversation”. I am sure many of us could look in the mirror and think that this statement may hold true at times for us as well?

Stephen Covey made this statement that hits home with portions of this article. “Seek first to understand, then to be understood”. I firmly believe that it all starts with true communication and the ability to listen with effort. Once we do compassion with effort it eventually becomes our thoughts and these thoughts can lead to positive actions.
